Stud Services

Our stud program has been built with the same philosophy that guides every part of Wonderland, quality over quantity. We intentionally keep a very limited number of stud dogs, selecting each one for exceptional health, sound structure, loving temperaments, and thoughtfully planned pedigrees. Every stud has completed comprehensive DNA testing through Embark, orthopedic health testing through OFA when age appropriate, and their health information is available for prospective breeders to review, below.

We are proud to offer live cover, side-by-side artificial insemination (AI), and shipped chilled semen to approved breeding programs. As AKC-registered sires, puppies produced from our studs are eligible for AKC registration.

Our goal is to work alongside breeders who share our commitment to producing healthy, well-bred Pomeranians. Because of that, a signed Stud Service Agreement is required before any breeding takes place.

Stud Service Fees

• Limited AKC Registration: $2,000 (offspring are sold with Limited AKC Registration only)

• Full AKC Registration: $2,400 (for approved breeding programs only)

The stud fee is due prior to the first breeding or semen shipment.

The dam owner is responsible for all veterinary, reproductive, shipping, collection, and insemination expenses associated with the breeding. Semen may be collected at our location or through our reproductive veterinarian if preferred. When shipped semen is requested, all collection and shipping costs are the responsibility of the dam owner.

To protect the health of every dog involved, all dams must have completed genetic DNA testing prior to breeding. For natural or side by side breedings, a current negative Brucellosis test is required before arriving at our property.

While every breeding is approached with care and attention, reproduction is never guaranteed. Fertility, conception, pregnancy, and whelping are influenced by many factors beyond either breeder’s control. A litter is defined as the birth of one live puppy. If no live puppies are produced, we are happy to offer one complimentary return breeding to the same stud for the same dam, as outlined in our Stud Service Agreement, shipping and travel fees are expense of the dam owner..
