Meet Lyric
Dogs have always been more than a career for Lyric, they’ve been a way of life.
With over 16 years of professional training experience and 11 years as a dedicated breeder, she has spent her career helping families build better relationships with their dogs. Much of that time has been devoted to working with challenging behavioral cases, including aggression and obedience rehabilitation, giving her a unique understanding of canine temperament, genetics, and what it takes to raise truly exceptional companions.
Her passion began long before her career. Growing up in a dog-centered family, Lyric stepped into the show ring at just eight years old, exhibiting Afghan Hounds and developing a lifelong appreciation for structure, purpose, and responsible breeding.
In 2024, Lyric and her family followed a dream by relocating from Fort Myers to North Florida, where they could fully dedicate themselves to their home-based breeding program. Remaining intentionally small has always been part of the vision. Rather than producing numerous litters, every puppy receives individual attention, purposeful socialization, and a foundation built on confidence and good manners. Many puppies continue their journey through Wonderland’s training program, allowing families to bring home companions that have already begun learning the skills to thrive in everyday life.
Wonderland is truly a family effort. Lyric’s children, Hayden and Wayde, play an important role in helping socialize the puppies through gentle daily interactions, while also caring for the family’s rabbits. Puppies grow up surrounded by everyday family life and are introduced to horses, small animals, children, new experiences, and the routines of a busy home, helping them develop into adaptable, confident companions.
While Chris brings Wonderland’s projects and ideas to life with his craftsmanship, Lyric focuses on what she loves most: carefully planning each breeding, studying pedigrees, reproduction and genetics, and raising puppies with intention. Every decision is made with one goal in mind, to produce healthy, beautiful Pomeranians with outstanding temperaments that will bring joy to their families for years to come.

Health testing helps breeders make informed decisions that reduce the risk of passing inherited conditions to future generations. While no breeder can guarantee a dog will never develop a health issue, breeding health-tested parents significantly improves the odds of producing healthy, structurally sound puppies.
At Wonderland’s Boujie Pomeranians, we believe health comes before color. Every breeding is carefully planned with health, temperament, structure, and longevity in mind.

OFA stands for the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. It is one of the most respected organizations in the United States for evaluating and recording the health of breeding dogs.
Veterinarians submit X-rays and examinations to OFA, where board-certified specialists evaluate the results. Dogs that meet the required standards receive official certifications, which are permanently recorded in the OFA database.
This allows breeders and puppy families to verify a dog’s health testing rather than relying on claims alone.

Our breeding dogs complete age-appropriate health testing before they are considered for our program. Depending on the dog’s age and breeding status, this may include:
Patella (knee) evaluations
Cardiac (heart) examinations
Eye examinations performed by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist
We continually follow recommendations from the parent breed club and veterinary specialists to ensure our breeding program remains current with best practices.

Yes. Our breeding dogs are DNA tested through Embark to screen for many inherited genetic conditions and to help us make responsible breeding decisions.
DNA testing is an important tool, but it does not replace OFA testing. Genetic screening and orthopedic evaluations work together to provide a more complete picture of a dog’s health. Some Popular DNA results will be posted on our Poms OFA Profiles.

Health testing greatly reduces the risk of inherited diseases, but just like people, dogs can still experience illnesses or injuries throughout their lives. Responsible breeding is about minimizing risk, making educated breeding decisions, and giving every puppy the healthiest possible start.

Health testing requires time, financial investment, and waiting until a dog is physically mature before final certifications can be completed, as some breeders do not want to submit prelims and finals, costing them more.
Unfortunately, some breeders skip these steps to reduce costs or breed dogs at a younger age. We believe every puppy deserves parents that have been thoughtfully evaluated before being included in a breeding program.
Prelims depending on what’s being tested for at the vets office can sit between $200-$1,000, plus OFA submission fees. then repeat that for finals at age 2.
